John II Casimir, medal of 1660, Peace of Oliva, rare

Signed on the obverse and reverse with the initials JH; silver, weight 97.22 g, diameter 74 mm. Medal by the famous Danzig medalist J. Höhn senior. A rare, beautiful medal in dark patina. On the obverse a view of the Oliwa Monastery, on the reverse in the foreground genre scenes, in the background a panorama of Gdansk and its surroundings. Minor damage to the rant, scratches in the background.
